This policy explains what information the game uses, why it is used, and the choices available to you.
Effective July 23, 2026
1. Overview
This Privacy Policy applies to Flappy Dactyl Duo (the “Game”), developed and operated by
David Kuvaev (“Developer,” “I,” or “me”). It describes how information is handled when you
play the Game, use its online leaderboards, or contact me.
The Game does not require a user account. It uses randomly generated identifiers for leaderboard
functionality and analytics rather than asking for your real name. Please do not use your real name,
email address, or other contact information as your leaderboard nickname.
2. Information used by the Game
Leaderboard information
When you use online leaderboards, the Game and its leaderboard provider process:
the nickname you choose;
your score, rank, streak, leaderboard category, and related play-session information;
a persistent, randomly generated player identifier stored on your device; and
technical information needed to submit and validate a score, which may include an IP address and basic network information.
Analytics and diagnostics
The Game uses GameAnalytics with a randomized installation identifier. Analytics may include gameplay
events, screens and settings interactions, game mode, score, play duration, session activity, app and OS
version, device and hardware characteristics, frame-rate or memory measurements, crashes, errors, and
other diagnostic information. Service infrastructure may also process an IP address and basic technical
information when receiving these events.
The Game does not send your real name or email address to GameAnalytics and is configured not to use
Apple's advertising identifier (IDFA) for analytics.
Information you send voluntarily
If you email me for support, a privacy request, or a nickname report, I receive the email address,
message, and any files or other information you choose to include. The in-game report action opens your
email application; the Game itself does not silently send or store your email address.
Information stored on your device
The Game stores settings, local progress or high scores, your chosen nickname, and randomly generated
installation/player identifiers on your device. This local information is used to remember your choices
and operate the Game.
3. How information is used
Information is used only as reasonably necessary to:
operate the Game and display online leaderboards;
submit, validate, rank, and protect scores from abuse or manipulation;
remember settings and maintain gameplay functionality;
understand aggregate gameplay patterns and improve balance and usability;
diagnose crashes, performance problems, and technical errors;
review nickname reports, moderate leaderboards, and respond to support or privacy requests; and
comply with applicable legal obligations and protect users, the Game, and its services.
Where applicable, these activities are based on providing the service you request, legitimate interests
in operating, securing, and improving the Game, compliance with law, or consent where the law requires it.
4. Public leaderboards and moderation
Leaderboards are public within the Game. Your chosen nickname, score, rank, and leaderboard category may
be visible to other players. Do not put sensitive or identifying information in your nickname.
Other players may report a nickname by opening a pre-addressed email from the Game. A report does not
automatically hide or delete the entry; it is reviewed for moderation. I may rename, suppress, or remove
entries when reasonably necessary to address abuse, inappropriate content, cheating, legal obligations,
or valid privacy requests.
5. Service providers
The Game relies on third-party services that process information to provide their functions. Their own
terms and privacy practices also apply.
Provides anonymous login, score validation, and online leaderboards. It receives the randomized
player identifier, nickname, score and streak information, leaderboard/game identifiers, and related
play-session and technical information. Its infrastructure operates on a globally distributed
network, so processing may occur in multiple countries.
Provides gameplay analytics, performance measurements, and diagnostics using a randomized
installation identifier. More information is available in the GameAnalytics
privacy FAQ
and
data retention and deletion policy.
Distributes the Game through the App Store and independently processes App Store, download, device,
and other information under Apple's own privacy policy. That processing is controlled by Apple, not
by this policy.
6. Tracking, advertising, and data sales
The Game does not contain advertising, does not sell or rent personal information, and does not share
personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. It does not track you across apps or
websites owned by other companies and does not use IDFA. Randomized identifiers are used only within the
Game's leaderboard, analytics, security, and diagnostic functions.
7. Data retention
Leaderboard records may be retained while needed to operate the leaderboard, preserve
score integrity and history, prevent abuse, or until a valid deletion request is completed, unless a
longer period is reasonably necessary for security or legal reasons.
Analytics and diagnostics are retained and deleted or anonymized according to
GameAnalytics' published retention practices.
Emails and reports are kept only as long as reasonably necessary to handle the request,
keep an appropriate moderation record, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, or comply with law.
On-device information remains on your device until the Game or its data is removed,
subject to device backups and operating-system behavior.
8. Your choices and privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a
copy of personal information associated with you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Where
processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent. You may also have the right to complain to
your local data-protection authority.
To make a request, email kuvaboss@gmail.com
with the subject “Flappy Dactyl Duo – Privacy Request.” For a leaderboard request, include
the nickname, leaderboard, and approximate score so the record can be located. I may ask for additional
information when reasonably necessary to avoid altering or deleting another player's entry. Requests are
handled within the time required by applicable law.
9. Children's privacy
The Game is intended for a general audience and does not require a real name, email address, or account to
play. I do not knowingly use children's personal information for advertising or sell it. If you are a
parent or guardian and believe a child provided personal information through the Game or its leaderboards,
contact me so I can investigate and take appropriate steps, including deletion where required.
10. Security and international processing
I and the Game's service providers use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to
protect information. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Service providers and their infrastructure may process information in countries other than your own.
Privacy protections may differ between countries. Where required, applicable safeguards are used by the
relevant service provider for international processing.
11. Changes to this policy
I may update this Privacy Policy when the Game, its services, or legal requirements change. The effective
date at the top of this page will be updated. Material changes may also be communicated in the Game or on
its store listing where practical.
